In fitness, it’s almost the same thing. The biggest difference is that remodeling people takes time. If you can’t change how someone thinks and feels internally, you’ll change little or nothing. Years ago I was a fitness trainer and massage therapist for rehabilitation. I focused on therapy and fitness training for athletes, sports groups, accident victims, surgical recovery and the general public. Honestly, I became disenchanted training people who wanted a babysitter at the gym. Modifying exercises for my personal recovery and getting fit again has given me a new passion and drive to work with people who really want help and are serious about changing their life. Not for temporary change, but for a lifetime.

 

So, if you are looking for a quick fix, a miracle pill, powder or workout program, this is not it. Continue your search until you decide you want to bring balance to your life and make fitness a lifestyle. Then, welcome to the TFO family. Our deep desire is to help people who want help. Also, one day we’ll be able to help anyone with disabilities, obese or returning servicemen and women who need to get strong and in shape regardless of their limitations.  Time is so precious that I can’t imagine anyone wasting it doing something they really don’t want to do.
